People I disagree with have better reasons than I assume.

I grew up in a church that thought it had all the answers. Faith is still important to me. But I’m frustrated by how arrogant and close-minded a lot of American Christians are. So I’m working on a podcast to promote intellectual humility in Christians by having each episode explore both sides of a debate within Christianity. The topic of my first episode will be marijuana.

If Christians can come to terms with the fact that there’s a lot about our own faith that we don’t have “figured out,” maybe we can learn to be more respectful of people with other religious convictions too.
